This is the web site that archives the Risks Digest, I've read this digest for years and it never ceases to amazes me how vunerable the systems we use are to mismanagement, misconfiguration, misunderstanding and Little Miss Muffet (famous cracker). If like me you think these things are worthy of note try out the risks site .

Slashdot

I used to read The Register for news, but they kept showing me Microsoft adverts and I don't need anymore marketing fluff from Bill and Co. So now I read Slashdot , I tend not to read the comments on particular articles because they seem to not be worth reading, but the articles and the links thereof are almost always interesting. Of course there is a large free *nix bias here so YMMV.
