Local Euphonium virtuoso Glyn Williams delights a capacity audience with the ever popular 'Myfanwy' during the presentation concert given by a band made up of representatives from the winning bands at the Delph and Denshaw contests

Delph Chairman Bob Rodgers presents Ashton-under-Lyne Band representative Andy Howard-Smith with the newly dedicated Gledhill Trophy. Ashton band shared 5th place with the Lindley Band
Sponsor Dave Richardson presents the Frank Jones Shield for the Best Soprano (Nigel Fielding) to Brighouse Chairman and BBb player in the band, Mike Norton.

Jayne Hawksworth of Lindley Band receives the Barlow-Shaw Trophy for Lindley's joint fifth placing from Dr John Aupers.
Treasurer Barry Stelfox presents Marsden's Euphonium player with the Neville Taylor President's Cup for gaining second place at Delph.
