13- Sandra prepares to lead Hebden Bridge, in their unmistakeable green jackets, down the street, as first band to play this year.

1303 - Charity was the name of the game for the ladies of Boobs 'n Brass who provided plenty of entertainment and colour.

1541 - Other well travelled visitors were MG Root all the way from Switzerland. They looked so smartly distinctive in their military style uniforms.

1515 - 'Best Euphonium' went to Wire Brass, a band that is making a name for themselves at the moment, showing a winning touch at many contests.

1415 - Clogher Valley were a scratch band (including some old friends of the contest) that had just 'popped over the water' from Northern Ireland.

1650 - The famous Black Dyke Band notched up another Delph victory, this year with a staggering 99.5 points to put a real stamp of quality on the evening.

1670 - Soprano star Alan Wycherley of Foden's provides the audience with some thrilling playing and helps the bands gain a very well deserved third place.

1677 - Delph always drag out their last ounces of strength after a long day, especially this year as 'last band on'. Here euphonium stalwart Keith Palmer helps them gain Second Best Local.

227 - Winners of our first ever deportment prize, Rochdale Borough Youth on their way to clinching the Best Youth Band award as well!

301 - We came under invasion from Pirates Brass, a colourful bunch of players from Midlands' bands.

821 - This year saw a Viking invasion as well, the Norwegian Alexander Band who played a brand new march by Philip Sparke, appropriately entitled Conqueror!

967 - The tight-knit bunch at Mossley Band marked their return to Delph by gaining the Best Local prize
