This is Valle Crucis abbey, a ruin of a mediaeval Cistercian abbey near Llangollen in North Wales. Valle Crucis has been the subject of an ongoing project of mine since 2003, involving dowsing as well as more conventional forms of research. In the distance you can just make out Castell Dinas Brân, perched on top of the hill, towards the top right.

The blue flags in this photo mark a curved section of an annexe ditch that forms part of an Iron Age hill-fort discovered by archaeologists at Ffynnonwen farm in West Wales. To make it clearer I've enhanced the photo by adding a yellow line to show the curve of the dowsed feature. The dowsing was confirmed by geophysics done at the site by Cambria Archaeology.
