Wood-turning

Left: a pair of handles for "angle rods" (L-shaped divining-rods). These fit are designed to fit the large size L-rods sold by the BSD.

Below: smaller L-rod handles.

Right: Here are three goblets I turned. They're made of mahogany, and each has a 'captive ring' around its neck. For some people the ring represents eternity, rather like a wedding ring but mostly it's there because the wood-turner is trying to show off his skills.

Pendulums

As you will have seen I count dowsing as one of my hobbies, so it's no surprise that I use the lathe to make pendulums.

Below: Four pendulums, turned by me. The one on the left is made of common blackthorn, the others are mahogany.
