Ian's

Hastings Page of Pics!

On the 14 of January 2005 I went to Hastings on the East Sussex, UK, coast, with a friend to check-out the auction scene and while we were there I took some pictures. Unfortunately I hadn't set the camera properly so the pictures were not, to be honest, that good. Also I couldn't actuallly find much of interest to take pictures-of. Having said that, I don't think January, in the middle of winter, is the best time to visit a seaside town anyway!

Anyway, after a quick bit of 'Photoshop-ing' I have put some of them in to a gallery, just in case someone wants to see what Hastings (or at least the parts of it I visited) look like today. The pictures were taken with an Olympus µ[mju:] 300 Digital

When entering the Gallery pressing the F11 key (Internet Explorer 6 and later/Mozilla Firefox 1.0 and later) will increase the size of your browser's window - press it again later to return to normal.

NOTE: All the pictures in the gallery have been adjusted using 'Adobe Photoshop CS' on an 'Adobe Gamma' calibrated monitor set to sRGB (gamma 2.2)

(If you have a slow connection please be patient while the pictures load)

UPDATE - 1 June 2005: I have now moved the pictures to a separate Gallery page.that will hopefully be a bit quicker to load for people on dial-up modems.
