'Maanav Star' Page of Pics!

The 'Maanav Star' is a Mumbai (Bombay) registered 1,175 gross ton vessel that was forced ashore in high winds on the South-Kent coast at Camber (near Rye, E. Sussex, UK) on Sunday September 12, 2004. Read the Lloyds report

My friend and I were going to Rye the following day and came across the ship by chance - I don't watch much TV so I didn't hear about it on the local news.

Luckily I had brought my camera with me (a little Olympus µ[mju:] 300 Digital ) and the pictures in the Gallery are the result!

NOTE: All the pictures in the Gallery have been adjusted using 'Adobe Photoshop CS' on an 'Adobe Gamma' calibrated monitor set to sRGB (gamma 2.2)
