Jack's book "From
Dingle to Delhi", and a dramatisation of the book was successfuly
launched on the 22nd of July 2003 at the Mount Carmel Social Club, Liverpool
8.
There was a signing by Jack, and the play (written by Tom McLennan) was performed
by the Shorefields Drama Group as part of the 5th annual Drama in the Dingle
Festival, the play was also shown at the Unity Theatre and performed at the
Kings Regiment Museum, which is housed within the "Museum of Liverpool
Life" (adjacent to the Albert Dock) in July.
Bob Dutton, of Handel Publishing said:"This is a fantastic book and a great achievement by Jack, a prime example of community culture".
