Clock Tower
The minister Ebenezer Wallace "came out" in 1843 and
worshipped in a tent till the end of the year when the
church,converted from a cottage(shown above at rear)
was opened.
The Former Free Church,a beautiful little red sand-
stone building was built in 1891."Occupying the site of
the old Disruption church (Kirk Angus) is the watch
tower of the community, and it's graceful spire and clock
form the most imposing landmark from every viewpoint.

"The spire was added in 1894.Total cost £1,400. In
1897 the clock was placed in the tower to celebrate the Diamond jubilee of the great Queen Victoria"

It was restored by the people of Barr in 2001-2002 with the help of South Ayrshire Council
