Weekend Workshops

Weekend Workshops have been designed for beginners and improvers with the aim to help students gain more confidence, improve and learn the secrets of a Watercolour or pastel landscape painting.Weekends will be intensive indoor based workshops, catering for small groups with plenty of one to one tuition, which will help to give a better understanding of the techniques of watercolour.

Staying in quaint bed and breakfasts based in Keswick with en-suite rooms and close to the town centre. Evening meals have not been included as there are plenty of wonderful eateries in Keswick also the 'theatre by the Lake' hosts an exciting list of things to see.

About the courses

Watercolour weekends are mainly based inside a spacious light hall with parking and views over towards Newlands valley, Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite Lake. Step by step demonstrations with one to one attention specially designed to meet all students needs. Workshops begin Saturday and Sunday at 10.30 am finishing about 4.00pm with a break for a light lunch, with Tea and coffee included.

Summer Weekend Dates

Friday 5th to Sunday 7th June A very special weekend spent on Derwent Island painting from the terrace overlooking Cabells, on the Lawn towards Borrowdale or from the boathouse looking back towards Keswick and Skiddaw. We will take the private launch to the Island Morning Coffee, an afternoon tea will all be included on this fabulous weekend Price £235.00

Watercolour Secrets around Derwentwater, One day spent painting around the shores of Derwentwater and One Inside demonstration day price includes Two nights bed and breakfast (Friday and Saturday) £180.00 FULL

Friday 16th to Sunday 18th October 09

Watercolour for beginners an ideal course to learn how to paint a watercolour landscape, price includes Two nights bed and breakfast (Friday and Saturday) £180.00

Groups are kept to a maximum of eight so please book early
