Black Tailed White
Male and female plumage: Body feathers white, wing primaries and
secondaries should have white outer and black inner webs, the closed wings look
almost white. Main tail feathers black. Main sickles and side hangers black or
black with white edges. In both sexes: Eyes red. Legs yellow.
Black Tailed Buff
Male and female plumage: The same markings as the black-tailed-white,
except that the white is replaced by buff. In both sexes: Eyes red. Legs yellow.
White
Male and female plumage: Pure white without sappiness. In both sexes:
Eyes red. Legs yellow.
Black
Male and female plumage: Deep full black with a green sheen. In both
sexes: Comb and face red. Legs yellow, black permitted on shanks, but underside
of feet must be yellow. Eyes red or dark.
Birchen Grey
Male: Silver neck and saddle hackles streaked with black, breast laced
to top of thighs retaining light shaft to centre of feather. Tail black with
green sheen.
Female: Silver laced neck hackle to be clear cut, back and tail black.
Breast feathers laced to top of thighs retaining light shaft to centre of
feather. Lacing to be clear cut completely surrounding each feather. In both
sexes: Red face and eye, Dark face and eye if possible. Legs yellow or dusky
with yellow sole.
Mottled
The black: Male and female plumage: All feathers should
be black with white tips. The amount of white may vary, but the ideal is between
0.94 cm and 1.25 cm. Tail and wings similar but more white permitted.
The Blue: Male and female plumage: As above but blue instead of
black.
In both sexes and all mottleds: Beak to match legs, which should be yellow or
willow. Eyes red or orange.
Blue
The self: Male and female plumage: All feathers blue, neck
feathers may be a darker blue than the remainder.
The Lavender: Male and female plumage: All feathers a lavender
blue to skin, even shade throughout.
In both sexes: Eyes orange or dark brown. Legs slate or blue.
Cuckoo
Male and female plumage: The feathers throughout including body, wing
and tail to be uniform cuckoo coloured with transverse bars of dark bluish grey
on a light grey ground. In both sexes: Beak yellow marked with black. Eyes
orange or red. Legs yellow.
Brown Red
Male and female plumage: Same markings as for Birchen grey but all
silver to be replaced with deep golden orange.
