Hidden Secrets and Tricks

The following codes work on most Nokia mobiles. I must emphasize that by entering or carrying out any of the following actions is purely at your own risk.  I will be adding other codes to this site in the future. I will also list some practical joke codes to use...the famous hidden PAC MAN game and how could we forget the Police Radar detector feature……)

IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) Type : -

Sim Card Clock Stop

This feature on Nokia phones does not enable free calls, I thought I should
mention this as I have been asked hundreds of times about this !
This feature basically saves battery consumption if enabled

*#746025625# (*#SIM0CLOCK#)

EFR CALL QUALITY

The following will allow you to increase or decrease the quality of audio
on your phone.

To activate EFR (Enhanced Full Rate) Enter the following : -

*3370#

This improves call quality but decreases battery life by about 5%

To deactivate it, Enter the code-

#3370#

Phone Bugging device !

To turn your phone into a bugging device (I think this works on 5xxx and 6xxx phones)
Short circuit the left middle and right pins on the bottom of the phone with all
other connections touching each other. The profile "Headset" will be activated.
Before carrying out this function, activate the "Automatic Answer" in the headset
profile and set the ringing volume to "Mute". Now you can use your phone for
checking out what people are talking about in a room. Just place it under a table
in a room and call it. The phone receives the call without ringing and you can
listen to what people are saying. I think 007 would be very proud of this trick.
If you have an old headset connector that you do not use, I would modify this
to achieve the above….

Wildfire (New Orange Voice Mail)

Say "Do me a favor" in the main menu (when Wildfire first answers) and she will
reply

"What kind of favour?".

You then appear to have two options:

I'm depressed!

Saying this phrase will make Wildfire issue one of several witty repartees
designed to cheer you up.

What does a cow say?

When you ask this, you hear a cow say MOOOOO. This is very short but funny.
Once in a while, when you say this command you will get a VERY FUNNY reply.
