Hi all and welcome to the ST510 setup guide.

06-03-2002 -- ok guys .. finally i got the right config for this thing, this time the router uses a single IP address for the ethernet interface and NO IP addresses for the WAN. this means that yu can happily use one ipaddress for the router and 5 for the hosts (that if yu are with eclipse and get 5 static ip addresses). pings to the router and hosts work all fine from inside and outside as well as tracert + for yu who use messenger, everything works fine. the file is available for download from the Setup Guide Section , the firewal is not configured yet but should be done soon.

09-02-2002 -- I managed to get the 510 working finaly on multiple static IP addresses, the full description and a downloadable profile file is located in the SETUP GUIDE under Multiple Static section.

05-02-2002 -- My name is Joe and also known as GoLarge on www.adslguide.org.uk.
Recently, I received my Speed Touch 510 4-port Router and eventually was playing with my new toy to get this thing up and running .. I then realised that this thing is far from plug and go job. So there we go, opened the pdf manual supplied with the router and read it all, start to finish (for once !!). without a clue, I decided to read it again and again then finally came up with the conclusion that its simply USELESS.
Decided then to take a look at the CLI guide but this turned up to be very complicated for someone without a previous experience with routers.
So I went hunting for some www resources but found nothing that could help me since this device is new and there are hardly any online guides supporting it.

Given up, I decided to pose my questions to the guys at adslguide (www.adslguide.org.uk) hoping to get the ST510 going. I noticed few questions regarding this router in the adslguide forum from many newbies like myself, so I decided to create this web site so we can all share the answers to our questions regarding the ST510 router.

The site is empty at the moment, but should fill up soon. Feel free to browse the section available, I just want to ask everyone using this router or have any knowledge about the 510 CLI guide to contribute towards this site. I also welcome any suggestions regarding the layout or the sections covered.
