I am a self-taught artist and specialize in oils but can also produce work in acrylics if time is in short supply.

It should be noted from the start that I DO NOT paint in colour, or colour as you would normally think of it. All my work is made up of black, white, burnt sienna and burnt umber. The combination of all these colours give the finished article a 'Sepia Tone' effect.

Work can be produced from literally any size of photograph the only stipulation being that the original should be as sharp as possible.

Oil or Acrylic paints are laid directly onto wood, not canvas, and given multiple coats of protective varnish in either a gloss or matt finish.
