Price Guide |
|
Below are prices. These can only be taken as a guide as each commission needs to be examined extremely carefully and the wishes of the client controls the final price. All prices quoted include postage and packing within the UK. For work sent elswhere in the world, shipping cost would be agreed in advance (charged at cost) |
The standard frame is also included in the guide prices below. Should you request a different frame or wish to supply your own alterations will be made accordingly to the final price. If you are considering a commission, please allow as much time as you can. To avoid dissapointment, allow between one and two months. |

I used to ask for a 20% deposit on all orders with the balance on completion, I will now do work on trust. You will be able to see the finished painting either through this site (Iwill create a page and a unique link for you), or by attachment with an e-mail prior to dispatch. With all the virus alerts about at the moment I would advise that you view your work on this site and do not accept attachments from anyone other than a most trusted source. Once outline approval has been given, I would ask for 50% deposit before dispatch and the balance on receipt. If you are not completely satisfied with your painting, simply return it within 10 days for a full refund including any postage costs incurred. |

All the work I supply comes complete with a 'Standard Frame', a sample of which can be seen on the left here. As mentioned earlier on, I paint on wood. I use various thicknesses of M.D.F. (Medium Density Fibreboard), which is perfectly flat and will stand the test of time. This method of painting is not new as all the Old Masters used wood at some time. It also helps to keep the costs down to an acceptable level. I look forward to receiving your enquiry John |
