Piaseki
H-21/Hawk/Lynx Another eclectic mix, kicking off with three French Piaseki H-21s - an overall metal one from GH.2 and an olive drab machine from the same unit, and a midnight blue H-21 from 31F Aeronaval. Optional data for all three schemes is provided, illustrating Model Art's exceptional research. The evergreen BAe Hawk is featured with markings for some Swiss aircraft from Pilotenschule 1, based a Emmen in 1992, in a red/white/grey scheme similar to the original RAF CFS finish. The sheet provides some unique personalised markings a well as codes/serial to model any of the Hawks operated by the Swiss! Another success story, the Anglo-French Lynx helicopter, is also included with two Royal Navy aircraft - a HAS 3 from 829 NAS in overall dark sea grey with a bright red nose and main doors, the other a HAS 8 from 815 NAS in an overall medium sea grey finish with smaller splashes of red low-viz roundels and a penguin painted on the main doors. Both aircraft feature the orange crop conversions, but the good news is Airfix are updating their Lynx kit for 2001, with all the other required airframe modifications in the box. The last subject is yet another of those esoteric French subjects Model Art excel in digging out, this time a Jodel D.140, a modern French military trainer in overall white with flashes of day-glo. Two options are on offer for the Maquettes Dujin kit. |
