This page provides a quick guide to help you see which benefits you might be entitled to.  For more information about the benefits themselves, please contact your local social security office, or apply to me for a leaflet or advice.

Payable for 26 weeks if you’ve paid enough N.I. contributions

If you’ve not paid enough N.I. contributions, or contribution-based JSA has run out or is not enough to live on

If you don’t have to sign on for work (eg. you’re incapable of work, disabled, a carer, lone parent, or 60 or over) and any income or savings are low

  Income support

Working at least 16 hours a week :

You have a child

You have a disability and get a qualifying disability benefit
