Hello, my name is John Smail.  

I am national welfare co-ordinator for :

ia - the Ileostomy & Internal Pouch Support Group

(registered charity number 234472)

I have designed this website to help members of our association obtain help and advice about the welfare system, and how ia may be able to help them.

ia is a mutual support group which has the primary aim of helping people who have had their colon removed. This has usually occurred due to the presence of an inflammatory bowel disease such as ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease.
