Gold Presets Challenge

  1. This challenge is to make gold presets from at lease one of my graphics
  2. You  have to be a member of the BladeProPRESETS group to participate.
  3. You can use either Blade Pro or Super Blade Pro to create gold presets
  4. Both your bitmap images must be based on any combination of one or two of my  graphic.  The ones displayed on this page  are in jpg thumbnails

     I have included the bmp. graphics in four zip files to reduce size of file download.  You may already have the bmp's on your computer as I have sent some through the group.

  5. You may modify these graphics, e.g. make them seamless, take an extract, but you must use one of these images as starting points.
  6. Please do not rename my bmp's graphics that you are using in this challenge
  7. You may start sending gold preset entries on Monday February 23 2004
  8. All entries should be e-mailed to me rosiepooh@cablerocket.com  
  9. The deadline for entries is Monday March 29 6.p.m. GMT.
  10. Please do not post your entries to the group. This is to enable anonymous voting.
  11. The preview file must be no bigger than 250 pixels by 250 pixel .  You may use anything you like or shape as your preview to show your preset off to its best advantage.
  12. Each entry should consist of a zip file containing a preview in jpg format, the blade pro  or super blade pro gold preset  and the bmp file (s).  
  13. Please send each entry in a separate e-mail and put in subject. "Gold Preset Entry"
  14. Entries will be displayed on this site  for viewing of the gold presets as I post them.
  15. Your gold presets will be offered for download from this site unless you state otherwise in your entry.
  16. You may enter up to 6 times with only 3 to be used for challenge After sending 6 times of your preset there will no longer be any chances to change your mind. Please state which one you would like to use in the challenge on the last  e-mail to me

 

  1. A yahoo poll will be set up for voting. Voting will not start until Friday April 2nd  at 6 p.m. GMT. and end April 9th at 6 p.m. GMT
  2. I personally will not be voting as I do need to remain neutral to the challenge.
  3. Everyone that is participating in the challenge is expected to also vote .  If for some reason you are unable to vote at that time different arrangements can be made with me.
  4. Each person will be able to vote once for a first, second and third place, 4th place and 5th place. on the gold  presets (not person but presets #).
  5. For each vote, the 1st place will be given 5 points, 
  6. For each vote the 2nd Place will be given 4 points
  7. For each vote the 3rd Place will be given 3 points
  8. For each vote the 4th Place will be given 2 points
  9. For each vote the 5th Place will be given 1 point
  10. The  whole challenge will be based on the sum of the individual votes for each gold preset.
  11. All member of BladeProPRESETS will be able to vote
  12. The poll will not be created until all entries have been received, because it will have to have an entry for each preset.
