Ingredients:- |

|
20 - 30 flower heads |
|
|
|
1.5 - 2 lbs. sugar to taste |
|
|
|
3 lemons |
|
|
|
2 ozs citric acid |
|
|
|
2 pints boiling water |
|
|
|
||
|
Method: |
||
|
|
||
|
|
Peel lemons thinly - no pith - and extract juice |
|
|
|
Put lemon peel + juice in large bowl |
|
|
|
Add flowers, citric acid and sugar |
|
|
|
Pour over boiling water. Mix well |
|
|
|
Leave overnight - covered |
|
|
|
||
|
Strain and bottle, corking loosely. |
||
|
NEVER USE A SCREW TOP. |
||
|
|
||
|
Dilute to taste as desired |
||
