Sheffield dogs rescue told me that a puppy had been abandoned on a playing field
in Thorpe Hesley and would I like to foster adopt it. The 'rescuer' couldn't
keep the dog and the dog rescue had no room for him. I was looking for a Jack
Russell as our 12 year old had just died. I was told he was a Jack Russell
cross. When I saw him I knew he wasn't a Jack Russell, but I couldn't leave him
as he was so appealing. When I asked the vet about his parentage, he said
"what hasn't he got in him!!!", and he told me he was about 10 weeks
old and would grow to the size of a border collie. This was much larger than
the dog we wanted, but we love him so much, it won't matter!
