I got Bowser when he was two years old. He had been at the pound for a year. When I walked up to the kennel he was in, all the other dogs either ignored me or jumped all over themselves trying to get my attention. Bowser placed his paws on the fence and just stared quietly at me. I was looking for a quiet dog, so I petted him. He became my dog right then, and he's my best friend with four legs. The shelter didn't have any background information on him, so I don't know what his first year was like, but he's very well-behaved and obedient, extremely loyal and loving. He's everything I wanted in a dog.
