History:-
Chalkie was gotten for my younger brother in 1998 when I left home to join the army. He came from the NCDL in Sadburge & although he wasn't for me, I was the one who picked him. Anything from Chalkie's past is unknown as he was picked up as a stray, but it was guessed at the time that he was about 1 year old & that he had led a horrendus life, this was guessed from the fact that even though he is a big dog, he was petrified of men, raised voices & if you ever raised your hand anywhere near
him he would cower. When things didn't work out in the army & I came home due to a knee problem, Chalkie was at my side constantly especially when I was upset. When I left home again this time to move in with my partner Chalkie came with us. He is now a very loving dog & very protective (in a good way) of myself, my partner & our younger dog.
