History:-
Shep was our neighbor's dog where we used to live. They would just let him run around loose when he was a puppy. I of course fell in love with him. Well, one night he had gotten run over and had laid in the ditch all night. Another neighbor told me that morning and I ran out to check on him. He was hurt pretty bad, but still managed to wag that tail as he lay there. His owner then came over and grabbed him by the collar. They were going to shoot him! I grabbed her hand and said "I don't think so!" I put "Shep" on a board and put him in the truck and went to the vet's. Well, he had a fractured hip and front leg. He had pins put in his leg and due to being so young at the time, they thought he would heal just fine. Well, He did and he has been my constant companion for the last 12 years. He is the most gentle creature and we all love him dearly. God gave us a miracle that day and his name is Sheppie!.
