WELCOME TO MY WALLACE/LONGHURST

I have come across many sites that mentioned "William Henry Longhurst" when researching the Longhurst line and imagine my surprise when I found a link to my family (I was a Longhurst until I got married 24 March 2001!). I have been researching my family tree for about 3years now and have been to many genealogy sites to try to discover more and more information. Luckily, I found the www.Longhurst.com site and discovered tons of information. It has been rewarding too! I have come across a cousin of my fathers that he never knew he had!! I also have come across other distant relatives who have been in contact!
The only problem I have come across is the Wallace side (My fathers' mother was a Wallace). My father does not know much about his maternal grandmother as she died when he was young. The only info he could tell me is in the 'copy of descendants' page ( I also had newspaper clippings, birth certificate, death certificate and marriage certificate for my fathers' parents) It is so frustrating that I have managed to go back to 1601 on the 'Longhurst side' and can get no further than 1864?, (which is only a rough guess anyway,) on the 'Wallace side'.
