KAT'S PERSONAL

INFORMATION

My name is June and I have been online for three years now. My online name is Katenn or Kat and I have been known as this the entire time I've been online. I was 34 on 2nd June 2000 and I don't worry about getting old. I am married to George (online name Doddie) and we met on the Internet. I was living in Glasgow and he lived in Edinburgh. We met in an Excite chat room called VPlaces and after chatting for a month decided to meet in real life. I guess you could say that was that. Doddie tried living in Glasgow but hated it so I packed up and moved to Edinburgh where I am currently staying.

At the moment I am currently job hunting, having recently quit my job so if anyone out there wants a good administrator then drop me a line LOL!!

I am qualified in Computing Support to HNC level though I decided I'd prefer to do admin work. Doddie is not qualified in Computing though he can strip a PC down to the bare bones, rebuild it, install any Windows operating system and network PC's. If anyone reads this who has the need for someone like Doddie give me an e-mail. Almost forgot to mention, he's also a great cook which is lucky for him because I burn everything. <g>

I have two sisters. My eldest Liz has recently moved to Dublin with her daughter Heather. My elder sister Mags has four children and lives in Corby, England near my parents.

Previous to meeting Doddie I shared my home with my dog Fox (what can I say...I like the X Files <g>) and my cat JJ. Doddie doesn't like cats and JJ doesn't like Doddie so it can lead to some interesting times in our house. <g>

From my web page, you can guess that I love Babylon 5. I also like Star Trek DS9, Voyager, TNG, X Files, Earth: Final Conflict, Star Wars and numerous other scifi shows. I have a fascination for dragons and am totally addicted to Anne McCaffrey's Pern series of books. I also read JRR Tolkien's The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings on a regular basis.

My video collection includes the first four seasons of Babylon 5 ( kindly given to me by a friend called Angus (upheliya online). Thank you Angus!!!), Terminator 1 and 2, Aliens 1, 2 and 3, Highlander 1 and 2 and various other titles. I think you can start to gauge what kind of interests I have <g>.

I have numerous online friends, some old and some new. Of my old bunch I'd like to mention Bill Door and Negri whom I first met on Pathfinder, chatted with regularly on Scifisites and continue to keep in contact via e-mail. Of my new friends I would like to mention Timov and Eddie from the SFT group. Thanks Eddie for asking me to join and thanks Timov for being such a good ambassador for the group and a new e-mail friend.
