Just imagine if you will,haveing spent most of the day making something special for some one you care about deeply. and late at night 2am to be precise, your passing there house, knowing that there are usually up at this time, all excited you see there light on feeling MORE excited about the lovely reception you think your gonna get from the person that cares for you tooo!!! just for one moment your thoughts are that the person is in bed and it could be the lodger up, as romantic all this sounds you still wouldent want to wake the person up you care so much about. the only way of knowing this is if you look throught the letter box to make sure before knocking gently, as you do this, your eyes are seen by the one you care about,because its late they get scared!!they dont know who are what is happening.they realise over a few seconds who it is, there fear turnes to anger.there so scared they call the police, thinking the person they care about has gone mad.what started as a romantic gesture turnes into a phycological disaster.the person has to walk away hurt dissapointed confussed wondering weather the person cares at all......... WHAT DO YOU THINK?????????

The blazing interior of the refridgerator blinds you and when you close the door, the darkness plays tricks with your eyes. Is that flicker by the door the light reflected from the television reflected in the window? Surely such a heavily hinged letterbox cannot flap so wide on such a still summer night. As you approach the door, the letterbox swings wide and you see mad eyes staring into your nightime privacy...(the events on which this story is based took place on the morning of 31st August 2001 at around 2.00am)

Norman's still in the same place but draws at least a thousand more peeps than he used to, and he's got a big bus now.... no Radio 1 stage, no stage at Horniman's Pleasance... and even less loos than there used to be!!! Ridiculous state of affairs that there wasn't one portaloo in the whole Horniman's/Southern Row/West Row area. Anyway we came, we saw, we got the Good Times Carnival fans for souveniers, ate chicken and rice & peas, drank Kaya's 'Caribbean Cocktail', smoked a few herbal cigarettes, chilled in the sunshine and left before the plug got pulled at 7pm.

Well..that was Garage City's 10th birthday then!!! Fortunately those very kind people at TF Tull Ltd thought I was working that night and consequently paid me till 5AM!! Big THANKS to Chrissy T for the snide entrance, Andy Unique & Richie C seemed to be enjoying themselves!! Kenny Dope was on fire in the main room and the lure of the Cock (that name keeps cropping up lately!!) Tavern in Smithfield proved too much for mere mortals such as Got Any House Tony and the delightful Sarah, Stumpy, Richard and the totally WASTED Sarah from B'Stoke....Well what do you expect when a pub throws open it's doors at 7AM!!! Tipped home @ 1:30 on Friday afternoon, a shell of a man.....Scouse you would have LOVED it son!!! V Much looking forward to Sunday at the other Cock, where the opening hours are a little more sociable!!!
