Just back from Soul24-7. That was amazing!! Marlena Shaw is just luvvly. Really nice and down to earth. Kaya and I both got kisses goodbye - and then we fell on the floor as soon as we left the room. done some good Caister training tonight and think that I have PERFECTED the black russian...The Soulboy (sans e) is quite a smoothie too! All we need for the weekend is some Blue Bols and we have all we need for the e-type. No props in soho...anywhere! I think that that type of inflatable might be too kinky even for Soho...what ARE we like;o) I am so excited about the weekend, partly because I am as poor as I was when I was 17 and at my first Caister...it's gonna be a gooood one, I can feel it in my water. Certainly will, matey. Last year the guys who ran the bar (in Puerto Rico) were happy to play a few tracks but as I was the only one requesting Modern/Northern which is'nt to everyones taste, the music drifted towards more familiar stuff ie Disco, Motown & some House & Garage. Still, it was much better than anything else we found. Most bars seem to play the same 10 or 15 tracks over & over. Mornin All! Welcome, JW. Who remembers the Caister roadshows in between Caister's back in the day? Myself and some of the BLATS use to travel around in a big transit van with a mattress in the back and go to doo's all over the south/south east. Wotcha Ali. Bribo, Netscape is notoriously crap at loads of things. Refreshing pages is one of them. MSIE automatically refreshes or at least tests for the need to refresh every time it goes to a page. Netscape only does this sometimes, and with frames that have been changed, never. To check for new stuff within a frameset with Netscape you have to Shift Reload the entire page.

Kaya, re recording vinyl, the guy at the PC shop said I need a preamp output into the line in on my soundcard. Apparently, plugging the deck directly into the soundcard's mic. input won't work as the impedance is wrong. He should know as he has recorded his vinyl onto CD. Also, I don't have a line out on my stereo plus I'm not sure there is a line in on the soundcard. I think I'll take my records to Tony C & use his Philips CDR. As for tonight I'm looking after some kids while their mothers go on the razz.

Dave, they're Flash movies made with Flash4 and yes, we had lot's of fun tonight. Should be something in the "History" section by the end of the weekend. Paul, I don't see why you can't plug a jack into your line-in on your soundcard and record in Windows Sound Recorder as a wav file. Once recorded you could save it as whatever you like using Cool Edit or burn the wav straight onto CD.

Kaya, If you access the internet through a server, like most offices do, the server will hold it's own "temporary internet files" or Cache, it is these that you would view if you simply deleated your own files, and if the server is set to only update at certain times you wouldn't see the new pages, However because Bev can see new updates on this page a simple refresh on the Caister boys site should be sufficient. Incidently, if anyone things by destroying their temp internet files, they are safe for bosses checking out what they have been viewing, you are wrong, I could check any of the staff here without even looking at their pc!!! and yes at least 8 are addicted to Big brother!! 3 are online as I type!

Afternoon maates. Thanks for a top night down the Country Club! Lack of entries yesterday and this morning due to being out on the lash with Spud. A strange thing happened after the Lacy - after several dozen visits to my house, first Mickey and then Frostie discovered that I've got a spare bed! The sleepathon started early this week. Mick found a life and went out early afternoon yesterday, Frostie went to bed and Spud and I went on a pub crawl by the river. Mickey turned up again about 6ish to take us all up to The Regal, but Frostie lighweighted out and went home! Ended up in an Indian restaurant in Highams Park with the Chingford maates at about 1am this morning. I've just taken Spud back to Canvey and I'm mangled!!! That was your Nikwatch update.
