St. Andrews 2000 old course

As we enter a new centry the Old Course once again plays host to the British Open. Over the last few years the grounds men have been busy rebuilding most of the bunkers and adding several new tee's to bring the course upto todays longer driving distances, for the first time in many years the course will once again play to its original hazerds. Playing at over 7,100 yards and a typical scottish summer's day into a strong often gusting wind with hard conditions getting round in par will be some acheivement for any player.
