PGA Tour

From the start PGA Tour set out to give the computer golf player the full feel of playing in the PGA Tour, this was not just another golf sim. Players signed up their own golf card and played a full career around many of the famous PGA golf courses. A full leaderboard and presentation like a major TV coverage was given during play. The actual Game play was also very good and is still fun playing today. The game only short coming was that it still used a flat course engine to represent the course, which was a little behind the times considering JNUG was available, Secondly they failed to bring out an updated version using full VGA graphics. This was eventually corrected when a windows version was released. A distant cousin of the game sporting the latest technology is available in several forms, ranging from PGA TOUR to Tiger woods 99 and currently in development is a new version supporting a course designer.
