Hope you all enjoyed as much as we did. Hi to all the cool people who came and chatted to us afterwards as well. Next show now is in Birmingham on the 12th June at The Old Railway. Anyway, must go and pack, did I tell you I'm going to Newquay for a week?! Spk soon Gav NEWS - 10th May 2002 Firstly, welcome to the brand new Killerest Expression site. Hope you like it (no... REALLY hope you like it cos its taken me aaaaaaages!) Couple of the pages are still under construction but you'll see them very soon. Don't really know where to start on the news front, cos theres there's so much really exciting stuff happening at the moment. Gigs are really starting to fill up the diary (see dates page) and we've been getting things ready for the release of our debut mini CD "Four days that shook the world" (look out for it in the first cople of weeks in June). Artwork is almost ready and the CD will be going to press in the next week or so. We're releasing it through In At The Deep End Records - one big thankyou to Mark at IATDE who has really pulled out all the stops for us and given us the kick up the arse we've needed for a quite a while now. Distribution is being looked after by Shellshock so you'll be able to pick it from independent music shops and maybe even the major chains as well. Mark tells me he'll also be getting CDs shipped to Japan and all over Europe through Boss Tuneage as well - all very exciting! Look out for reviews in all the national music mags in early June. If you would like to pre-order copies of the CD you can drop In At The Deep End an email here. There will be 8 tracks on the CD - 6 brand new and 2 remastered old ones. Should be availabe for around six quid - bargain! We will be selling copies at gigs too. T-Shirts, stickers and badges also coming very soon. Gigs wise, we had a cool night at the Market Tavern last night with Eastfield and Dead Mans Handle. Dead Mans Handle are a hardcore punk band from Belgium on tour round the UK at the moment - catch them if you can. Really nice bunch of people as well. Eastfield rocked as they always do. We've got a big run of dates now, loads booked between now and the start of July. Highlights are the alldayer in Stratford with Vanilla Pod tomorrow(12th May) and supporting Down By Law (!) in Derby on June 16th. See dates page for details. We are also talking to One Car Pile Up about doing a joint UK tour in August. Watch the site for details. Thanks to everyone who's left messages on the guestbook - appreciate it. All the best. Speak soon NEWS - 4th April 2002 Well bollocks, ive just spent over an hour writing an update only for my nail of a computer to go and crash and lose the lot of it, so excuse me if this lacks the fluidity of other updates but im bored now. Main news is that we have just finished recording our second release. Over the bank holiday weekend we decamped to Pristine Studios in Nottingham where we were admirably looked after by all including the great Mr johnny A Carter and Mr Paul A Yeadon who recorded us, and it sounds amazing even if I do say myself! (but then im heavily biased!). Much thanks are also due for the provision of an X box, this was basically the highlight of the weekend. Now im not Mr Gates' biggest fan but pay the man his dues - mention has to be made of the incredible graphics, the seamless gamplay and the endless amount of fun this sleak black box provided and best of all it meant i didnt have to talk to any one in the band all weekend - pure luxury Thanks also due to Jim and Dan who took us out on friday we went for a few beers and went on to watch Orange Goblin -Stoner rock - not my kind of thing so I didnt stay too long, on the way home we stumbled across a nice closed Pizza shop then man inside said he was closed but he said we could have his left over pizza's at a knock down price- life felt good....until the next day when the full contents of my stomach were unleased upon an unsuspecting world and i was reaquainted with my old friends Mr mild food posoining and Ms Toliet bowl over and over and over again, after this intial re introduction we stayed firm friends for the next two days. This first occured on the day i was required to record my parts so with the sprirt that made this country great I moaned, complained and vomited my way through the day. Mark from In at the Deep End tipped up and after three days watching us eat and drink pure crap decided we couldnt look after ourselves, so went to the shops and fed us! - it appears man cannot live on wheat crunchies alone- it was a shock to me I can tell you. Anyways the Cd Should be out quite soon on In at the deep end records. and is available directly from the lablel or us. The first 50 orders through the label get a free CD-ROM full of live footage of The Killerest Expression there would have been some studio stuff as well but all we did was sit on sofa's and play games console's- so probabaly not the most entertaining thing then! Anyway come see us live whenever you can, more dates are being confirmed every week so keep watching the site for details All the best speak soon
