Cover Up Written By Purple Helly!!


Wet Wet Wet have been renouned for their cover versions. Without slagging them off too much (after all they are my favourite band, allegedly!) two out of three of their number one hits have been covers, which does nothing for their credibility. More over they have been "dun" for miscellaneous plagerisms within some of their songs. The lines in Angel eyes are more than a tad bit familiar to a Squeeze song, (and we know as we have seen the lyrics.) and a bit in SLM is a tad bit more familiar to a Stevie Wonder song. Even Lisa I'anson on Radio one in 1995 accused Julia Says of being a dodge like a certain Beatles song of a similar name, (and we all know that one.) But at last some one has recognised that this band indeed does have some sort of talent (*cough*) in that we now have bands doing covers of Wet Wet Wet songs, whey hey…. So here is an exclusive picture of VIRGIN who have covered this rather popy 1980's wet song. (But I bet we all prefer the wets video version!)
