Geoff
mostly plays for the Sunday XI where he continues to add to a career
wicket taking tally for the club that totals 875. This makes him Wyse's
most successful bowler of all time. Also one of only two
players to achieve the amazing feat of taking all 10 wickets in an
innings (10 for 24 in 1982). Now a fixture in the ‘rest home’ that
is the Cudham Wyse slip cordon.

James
is carrying on the family tradition by establishing himself as a regular
in the first XI. Unlike his father, however, he is an aggressive top
order batsman who has scored some notable tons. One of these earned him
the Bat & Ball Sports Kent Village League Batsman’s Award for
2000. A fearsome hitter of straight sixes, but also prone to over
exuberance and getting out to shots that are distinctly ‘village’.
