Kit
belongs to the Angus Fraser school of bowling, in that he enjoys bowling
all day while giving the appearance of looking as tired as possible.
This may have something to do with the fact that he spends more
time going up hills than the Grand Old Duke of York.
Always a keen competitor, Kit is hoping to fill an all-rounder’s
role this year with his tenacious batting, which has flourished in the
nets. Also staging a one-man crusade to drag the club into the computer
age.

One
of the club’s all-time greats, Len has captured over 500 wickets in
his distinguished career, with a nagging accuracy and deceptive flight.
He is also legendary in his capacity as scorer, and is always one
of the most appreciated members of the side because of his willingness
to prop up the order at number 11.
With his stylish beard Len is always the most likely man in the
club to bowl a maiden over. Also renowned for his curry-eating abilities on tour.

Few
would dispute that Graham is one of Cudham Wyse’s leading career fielders
taking 5 catches in a match twice. He is also something of a run out specialist – even
smashing a stump in half once. As a batsman he has
an ongoing love affair with the mid-wicket hedge and his famous hoik
shot has become universally known as ‘doing a Millsie’.
Something to prove in 2002 after a slightly below par season brought him
the dreaded Stanner Stair Lift Most Deteriorated Player Award.

Unselfish
in allowing his skipper to deploy him where he is most needed John is a
useful contributor with bat or ball in the Saturday seconds & Sunday
XI. His stand and deliver
method at the crease has frequently been successful and has been copied
by several of the club’s younger players.
His bowling can be unpredictable but he has an undeniable quality
as a ‘goldenarm’.
