One
of the Wyse Men’s distinguished playing vice-presidents Eric has been
a club stalwart for many years. Eric combines productive and economic
bowling with the potential to score quick runs in the middle order. Eric
now has over 800 career wickets & uniquely combines this with having
scored a century for the Wysemen.

Simon
has taken hatfuls of wickets over the years with his accurate and
economical change bowling. An
integral part of Cudham’s set up he also
boasts the most technically correct forward defensive in the club, an
attribute unrecognised by many captains.
Is infamous for turning the ball like a doorknob, but like
Saqlain Mushtaq, he takes most wickets with the one that goes straight
on.

Dave
has been a vital addition to the first XI impressing immediately as a
consistently aggressive and proficient run scorer. He has been the club’s
top run getter for the last year 2 years and deservedly took the League batting
award in 2001. He also doubles as
an excellent wicket keeper & takes over as club skipper in 2002. The
twin irritants of dodgy LBWs & less skilful colleagues makes Dave
something of a 'Mr Angry'. Clear winner of the 2001 Mothercare Toys out
of the Pram award.

Dave
has been a lynchpin member of Cudham Wyse for many years. He has over
6000 career runs & 100 career wickets. Dave is a solid opening bat
notable for his ‘Bill & Ben’ floppy sun hat & devotion to
roll up cigarettes. He
also enjoys throwing himself around in the field at fine leg, a position
he has made his own. His
wife Jan often spectates contributing helpful & encouraging advice.
