Danny regularly
opens for the first XI with his miserly and accurate bowling crucial to
limited overs fixtures. Another virtuoso performance brought him the
bowling award in 2001. He has now bagged over 600 wickets for the club
and shares the distinction with Geoff Desborough of having taken all 10
wickets in an innings (10-23 in 1986). Danny can also be an explosive
bat down the order. Only blotted his record with a few ducks this term.

Pete is one of the club's newer members, but has already established
himself as one of the lads. A fine debut tourist in 2001 - he saved his
best performance for the Bournemouth nightclubs. Out in the middle
meanwhile Pete has a similarly flamboyant batting style.

Andy has been
one of the steadiest and most reliable batsmen in the club’s history
with nearly 12,000 career runs. A run of
carefully constructed not outs brought him to the top of the averages in
2001 and a deserved batting award. However, he has been the
victim of more dodgy LBWs than Nasser Hussain, and can often be heard
complaining that the club’s senior umpires are out to get him.

An excellent
candidate for the club's greatest player of all time John continues to
add to his 15,000+ career runs. Injury hinders him from adding to over
600 career wickets, but John's batting remains vital to the first XI. A
no nonsense striker of the ball especially against quicker bowling John
has been a consistent run getter for Cudham Wyse since he joined as a
teenager. In addition he still regularly keeps wicket in impressive
style either standing back or up to the bat.
