Adelina Ismajli (her
surname is also spelled Ismaili) was born on 14
December 1979 in Pritina, Kosovo, Yugoslavia
(now Serbia). She is one the most popular female
Albanian pop artists throughout Albania, Kosovo,
the Republic of Macedonia and in the ethnic
Albanian villages of Malėsia (in Montenegro).
Ismajli is best known for her controversial and
politically charged songs and lyrics, including
Uragan Ēohen Krenarėt, Nė Kosovė Luhet Kumorė,
and Skenderbe. She is also highly recognized
as a sex symbol for her outrageous and sexually
provocative videos and performances on Albanian
local television stations.
