About Milot
Albanian born artist Milot Krasniqi is generating an undeniable buzz in the Underground New York City Rap & Hip Hop Circuit. Born in Prishtina, Kosova on September 16th, 1981 to Rexhep & Mejreme Krasniqi, both established chemists in one of the citys laboratories, Milot was faced early on with the conflicts & oppression of a country in political and social unrest. By 1989, tensions in the region had escalated to a degree where Milots parents felt driven, for the sake of the family, to gather what savings they had and relocate outside of Kosova Their move was to the United States. The transition to a new country and a new language was extremely tough on all fronts. With many obstacles against finding gainful employment and housing, initially renting a small apartment in Coney Island, Milots father was forced to work several jobs so his mother could care for the young children, Milot (7) and his sister (9), at home. Through struggle and persistence, his father was eventually able to secure a job in Manhattan and moved the family to Mid-Town, where they lived for 11 years, and more recently to Upper Manhattan, where theyve been living for the past 6 years. Milot, through circumstance and conscience, began working at the age of 13 to help support the family. Looking beyond his hardships and social & financial barriers, Milot saw the chance for a better existence and was pushed, through often grim reality, to fight for what he really wanted to do in life. In the Mid 90s, Mobb Deeps The Infamous Album was an awakening inspiration and connection to Milot - he was soon writing his own rhymes with surprisingly instinctive, prolific, and natural force - from that point on Milot refers to this discovered passion as a Wrap on his calling in life. In 2002, Milot recorded and released an album in Kosova with an Albanian Rap group called the Bloody Alboz(Bloodyalboz.com). A few of the songs on the album are still getting spins throughout the region, most notably on Prishtinas Urban FM 103.5, hosted by well known DJ Sport Billy. Milot has had a breakout year in 2005 on the NYC Underground Scene, playing noted clubs and venues such as Webster Hall, Pyramid, Remote Lounge, and Upscalez. He is currently on the city wide Uncrowned King Of NYC Tour hosted by HOT 97s DJ Megatron. The Albanian Rapper is scheduled to perform in Europe in 2006 and is currently in the studio recording tracks for his debut solo album MILOTsophy.

Milot Krasniqi: Unë jam shqiptar nga Prishtina, Kosova. Jetoj në New York, jam 25 vjec dhe jam cool si pidh nane!! (duke qeshur në zë…)

AlbaNur:  A mund të ju tregoni lexuesve dicka më tepër për jetën tuaj në Prishtinë?

Milot Krasniqi: Nuk më kujtohet shumë, më kujtohen vetëm gjërat më kryesore. Isha vetëm shtatë vjecar kur e lash Kosovën. Na deturuan ata pidh nane shkije me lane Kosoven?

AlbaNur: Jeni hip-hop artist shqiptar...si ja filluat?

Milot Krasniqi: Ja fillova në New York! I kisha vetëm 11 vjec dhe ksiha dëshirë të bëjë freestyle në shkollë me shokët. Fillova dita ditës ta pëlqej më tepër këtë muzike RAP dhe kështu fillova të shkruaj dhe te kendoj. Vertete jam talent si pidh nane!

AlbaNur: Na thuani dicka për largimin tuaj nga The Bloody Alboz?

Milot Krasniqi: Disa nga anëtarët menduan se nuk është e drejtë që te jem ne dy grupe, me ata dhe TBA në të njejtën kohë. Ndonjëherë nuk e kuptoj vehten aq sa duhet. Por tani jam Solo si pidh nane vetem dhe me grupin Red and Black Entertainment...

AlbaNur: A jeni duke pregaditur projekte të reja?

Milot Krasniqi: Cdo gjë është duke shkuar në rregull. Jam ka e pergatis albumin tim të parë Single Solo. Web faqja ime së shpejti do të aktivizohet, do t'i keni rast t'i shihni te gjitha. Kam shumë plane për performanca të reja.

AlbaNur: Për njerëzit që nuk e njohin grupin tënd, mundeni shkurtimisht të thoni dicka për këtë dhe cfarë bëjnë..

Milot Krasniqi: Corporat ent. Eshtë produkcion i bazuar në Brooklyn dhe ka afro 15 artistë dhe producentë. Ata jane krejt pidha nane dhe punojne forte... janë më të mirët në New York...

AlbaNur: E dimë se jetoni në New York dhe jemi kureshtarë vallë të dijmë se, ka shqiptarë të tjerë në kompaninë ku punoni dhe si vlerësohet muzika juaj në Amerikë?

Milot Krasniqi: Ka një gjysëm shqiptare në kompaninë ku punoj. E quajne Jaime. Ajo është pronare e Red and Black ent. Ajo dhe kompania e saj me bejne promovimin gjithkah nëpër Amerikë

AlbaNur: Për ata që nuk të njohin personalisht, si e kishe përshkruar personalitetin tënd?

Milot Krasniqi:  Pidh nane, i relaksuar, ose cool, thuj qysh te duash!
