Hi everyone,
Some of you will have already heard my sad news, when our son Joss died at the age of 21, back in October. As you can imagine, the whole family was devastated, no parent expects to bury their children, and we have lost two sons now. For a long time, I had little enthusiasm for the mag, but now I'm glad it's there for me, something to occupy my mind and keep me going. But what has kept me going more than anything, is the support I've had from you. I want to say a heartfelt thankyou for all the flowers, cards, and letters I've received, every one made me cry, but it was such a help to know you cared. Special thanks go out to Sue and Jean for their kind thoughts, Kelly Wheeler who has been so good, even though we hardly know each other, my partner, who has taken most of the load off my shoulders, as always, (Darren, you're brilliant), and Sonia, poor girl, who had all the typing for this issue dumped on her, and has done an amazing job with it. Thanks for all your help, KTF3 would never have made it without you guys. As you enjoy the festivities, I'd like to leave you with this message. Think about all those friends and relatives you've been meaning to see, the things you meant to do or say, -- and go do them, while they are still around. You think they will be there forever, but believe me, you could wake up one morning, and find them gone. So sort it, then have a great Christmas. Here's to a better year in 1998, for Jon and the guys, all of us, and KTF Always, love, Bren x x x
