Hi everyone,

Well here we are into 98 and the question on every Jovi fan's mind is -- when are the guys going to get that new album and tour out? Wish I knew.

By all accounts, Jon was anxious to get the band back together and start working with them again, but this looks to have changed now. Richie's new solo album Undiscovered Soul is already out and it seems he wants to concentrate on promoting it this year.

This is something he missed out on when Stranger was released, so we say good luck to him. It's a stunning album and Richie deserves some recognition of his talent, this man is a brilliant musician and songwriter in his own right, not just Bon Jovi's lead guitarist. While I can understand some fans being disappointed with having to wait even longer for the band to get back together, I think we should get behind this guy and give him all the encouragement we can. Which is why you will find a lot more than usual on Mr. Sambora in this issue, and I make no apologies to the JB fans for that.

Just ask yourself -- would the band be as successful today without Richie's input? I think not. He has earned the right to put his own work first for a while, just as Jon did, and KTF Always wishes him all the best with it.

Jon is doing some solo shows in Europe April/May time and some of our lucky readers are going! So fingers crossed, we should have reviews of those and maybe photos too for our next issue.

So enjoy KTF4 and keep in touch. See you in June for our first birthday!

Bren
