CONTRIBUTORS

Deadline for KTFA #21: May 21 2002

So you decided you want to contribute to KTF Always, but aren't quite sure how to go about it... well, read on!

What can I contribute?

We don't have many rules, or guidelines for contributions, except that they must obviously be Bon Jovi related! Reviews of shows, songs, albums, and books, plus drawings & illustrations, poems, photos and pretty much anything else you can think of that's Bon Jovi related are all welcome. Constructive criticism of the band is welcome too, but bashing is not -- the editor's decision on such matters is final.

What format should my contributions be in?

For written contributions, you can hand-write them (please make sure your handwriting is legible though!), or you can type and print them out yourself. If you choose to print them yourself, please be sure to leave at least a 3cm margin all around the page, and to print on standard A4 paper. You can use whatever font(s) you like, as long as they are easy to read and around 10-12pt in size... please be aware that very fine, narrow or intricate fonts will not reproduce well, so choose your fonts carefully. Times, Helvetica, Comic Sans, Gill Sans (not the light version!), Arial, and Palatino are examples of fonts that do print and reproduce well if you're not sure what to use.

With photos, whenever possible, please send us the original photos for inclusion in KTFA, as opposed to print-outs/copies, as original photos reproduce better. If you have to send print-outs, please make sure that you scan your photos at least 300 dpi and print at 'high resolution' or 'best quality' on good quality paper, and please don't fold the print-outs! If you're not sure about scanning or printing to our requirements, please send the original photos to us via snail-mail instead, and we'll handle all that for you.

Where do I send my contributions to?

When will my contributions appear in the fanzine?

We will include all suitable contributions in the next issue of KTF Always, provided we receive them in time. Please note however that we cannot guarantee to publish all contributions, due to space limitations in the fanzine. We hold back suitable articles for inclusion at a later date if they can't be included in the next issue. Articles may be amended to fit in the available space.

What do I get if my submission is printed?

We're sorry, but we don't pay for submissions. KTF Always is not run for profit, it's run by fans for fans, and the cost of the fanzine just barely covers printing costs. We will of course give you full credit for your contributions though, and regular contributers could well see their name in our 'hall of fame' below...

The regulars...

Some of our regulars who deserve a big public thank you for their help, support, and contributions, include:

Darren Seaton
Sonia Wright
Carol Emsell
Suey Rust
Jean Bunting
Sue Rimes
Jan Baxter

Maybe in future issues your name could appear here too -- so why are you waiting? Send us your contributions NOW!
