I'm Bren, a totally committed (and some say I ought to be!) fan of Bon Jovi. I have loved the music ever since I heard Slippery but I wasn't into the image in those days. But when they came back with the new look and Keep The Faith it was like love at first sight! That's when this grand obsession of mine really began and has continued to grow ever since.

I thought I was too old for all this -- I'm 47, a grandmother, and have been married for 29 years. My family say I ought to know better, but I started to write to other fans and found so much friendship, kindness and loyalty, it made me want to do something to bring us all together.

So that's when the idea of doing a fanzine began to buzz around my Jovi-stuffed head and it just wouldn't go away! I had never done anything like it before but as there was nothing else for BJ fans in Britain, I decided to give it a try.

The first issue of KTF Always came out in June 1997, with a lot of help from my talented penpals. That one was around 26 pages, a bit thin on info and a lot of padding, but not bad for a first effort! After that, the contributions really started to come in and I very soon had to limit the pages to around 50 or so. As I said, it was originally meant for the British fans, but the rest of the planet seemed eager to join in and we are now going out all over the world.
