NICKIE
Hello folks I'm Nickie and as you can see I am a dark red tabby. Everyone says my markings are stunning. I came into care because I swiped at a child. Since coming into care I have been very good. My foster family realised that I got frightened whenever they came straight towards my face with their hands. They made a point of not doing this and I have been no trouble. I am a friendly boy and I love to be stroked and cuddled. I am desperate for a home of my own. Obviously I would be better with a home where there are no youngsters. I dont mind other cats or dogs. I would like a home with a safe garden so I can go out to play in the good weather. If you would like to curl up with a handsome boy during the cold winter nights then give me a call. please phone 0845 371 4213

Hello I am Callie.
I am in care because my owner was not allowed to have me in her flat.
My next door neighbour Cleo is in the same situation. We are best friends and would love a home together.
I have been blood tested and am clear of FIV and FELV.
I have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, de-flead and wormed.
If you are looking for 2 cuddly girls then give us a call.
please phone 0845 371 4213

Topsy and Turvy
Hello, we are Topsy and Turvy. We are mum and daughter although their is only about 6 months between us. We were farm cats and because we were so young Cats Protection took us into care because we were both pregnant. We had our kittens and helped each other to care for them all. Our kittens all went to new homes well over a year ago and we have been in care since then. We have been in care this long because we have been allowed to adjust to life in a domestic situation. We are now indoor cats and although still a bit timid we are fully domesticated. We still don't really like to be lifted and if we get our own home we may hide for a wee while. We will get used to you though. We just need someone who is happy to have us in the house and who is patient enough to allow us to come round in our own time. We are in no way scary or vicious, we are gentle and very playful. we love to play together and our foster mum says we are really kitten like. We feel it is time to find our permanent home now. If you are an experienced cat owner and you would like 2 very pretty kitties then call the branch. We are very good with other cats so even if you are looking to add to your brood then give us a call. We really need to find our own home now and make room for the other poor cats that are out there waiting to come into care.

If you have a home to share with us then please call 0845 371 4213

Abraham - remember me?
Hi Abraham here. As you can see I am still in care. I have now recovered from my operation to remove crystals from my bladder and hopefully thanks to the op I shouldn't get blocked up again. I have had a couple of urine infections since my op but I think this is to be expected whilst I am healing. I am on a special diet that helps stop the crystals forming and I must be kept on this. It is expensive so I am looking for a home with someone who has the means to afford me. Any future treatment for my problem will be paid for by Cats Protection. I am a big boy and I like to plod around doing my own thing. I have a special dog bed that I love to sleep in and I would rather sit at your feet as on your lap. I am a bit big to be a lap cat but if you have a big lap you just never know. I am looking for a home where I can get out into the garden in the summer and enjoy lazy days in the sun. I am an ideal companion cat, and as long as you are aware of my wee problem then we will get on just fine.

February 2010:
Cassie is a dilute tortie and Coolio a handsome black boy

Hi folks Ile and Inde here. You may remember us. We were homed a few months back but now due to work commitments we are back in care. We are black boys with a bit of white. We are friendly but a bit shy. We are now one and a half years old and really need a home where we can go out to play. We are good companion cats but we are too shy to deal with young children. We would like a quiet home with a more mature owner and someone with a bit of experience of cats. If you think you are that person then please call. We are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped. Our flea and worm treatment is all up to date too. please phone 0845 371 4213

Tess is the mother of the other kittens that are 14 weeks old, she is a great wee mum, she is very loving and she still lets the babies feed from her. She loves to sit up on worksurface in the kitchen and gaze out the window.  Tess is always ready for a cuddle.  Tess is young and vets thinks about 1 year old.

Wella
Hello, My name is Wella and I am an elderly little black and white lady. I was found limping and dragging my back leg. The person who rescued me thought I had been in a road traffic accident but after x-rays the vet discovered that I had an old injury and that I am quite athritic. I also have a cough that the vet thinks I have got from being outside in the cold and wet. I am currently being cared for by a lovely foster mum who will look after me until I am fit to go to a new home. I am currently on medication and will keep you up to date with how I'm doing. I am enjoying the luxury of having my very own bedroom in a warm cosy house.

Hello everyone my name is Mona and I came into care because my owner passed away and I was left in the derelict home with just a neighbour calling to feed me. My owner was a very elderly gentleman so I am not used to a lot of people being around. I am looking for a quiet home with a couple or with one person. I was used to going out so a safe garden would be ideal. I have been in an outdoor pen since coming into care but am now going into a house with a foster mum to see how I cope. Watch out for an update on how I am doing.

Hi I'm Willow and I was straying for a while.
I am a beautiful calico tortie girl and I am very shy.
I am with a foster mum and her daughter so that I can get used to people again. Whenever I get stroked I purr really loud.
I am about 3 years old and I am looking for a quiet household as an only cat. I hope to be ready to go to a new home early next year.  My foster mum wants to work with me for a wee while to ensure that I am confident around people again.
Keep watching this website for updates how I am doing.
