| Scenario #1 - The Lone Watch Tower
Factions Involved: Three Symbiot Ships vs Three
Imperial Eye Ships.
Background: The Symbiots are threatening to enter
the known worlds in the Shaprut System; having bypassed the Imperial
Fleet at Stigmata. This battle plays for very high stakes. If the
Symbiots fight and win; the emperor looses credibility and the Symbiot
presence in the known worlds increases. If the Empire fights and
wins, the Emperor gains in credibility and the ‘peaceful’
Symbiot factions gain in power back on Chernobog.
Setup: Place the ships on opposite sides of the
map with the Cirrus Space Station in the middle. The station weapons
do not fire for the duration of the conflict due to the events taking
place on the station during the battle (see or play “The Lone
Watchtower” in the module section for details.) Each side
has approximately ten turns to gain the upper hand over the other.
‘Reinforcements’ in the form of Al Malik or Symbiot
ships arrive to support whichever side has the most points towards
establishing victory at that time.
