Scenario #3 - The Hand Unseen

Factions Involved: One Vau ship-Three Li Halan Ships [Or two with Theurgists and Psychics]

Background: Ever since word has leaked out about the strange expedition into Vau territory, the Li Halan have suspected that more lay there than met the eye; and thus have quietly worked to find out more. They finally discovered a pod belonging to a malfunctioning Vau cargo ship. The Vau have dispatched a rescue vessel that will deal rather harshly with any interference in its efforts. If the Li Halan win, they gain valuable insight into Vau technology and their influence in Imperial politics increases. If the Vau win, their silent efforts to influence humanity increase.

Set Up: Place a ‘destroyed ship’ in the middle of the table. The Li Halan player must get to the ship, tractor it, and tow it off the edge of the map. The Vau player must either destroy the Li Halan or successfully tow the ship off the map.

Time Frame: The release of ‘War in the Heavens III’ 2003
