Living Crusade Mission Statement & Opening Comments
Welcome to Living Crusade! This web page is in its infancy, but Angus McNicholl has been very kind in helping us get it up much quicker than it would have been on our own. You can check out our FAQ here to get specific details, but since the page has just opened, I'll get to the important details first.

Living Crusade is about stories; helping to merge all aspects of the extensive Fading Suns universe as created by Holistic Design; Noble Armada (Miniatures and the Upcoming Computer Game), Fading Suns RPG (VP and d20 version), Passion Play (LARP), and Literature (Dark Between the Stars and Fading Suns Wordsmiths) and merge them into one ongoing continuity.

What does this 'continuity' thing mean you ask? It means that you can make a difference in the Fading Suns universe. There is no direct link between Holistic Design and Living Crusade; but a large unified campaign where actions in one thing affect actions somewhere else give a sense of realism and drama that one home campaign cannot achieve. Indeed, Living Crusade makes a home campaign all the greater when your actions affect not just your characters but a larger universe around them.

How does it work? It works by making contributions. We can't do this alone, we need your help. As such, the people who contribute the most, have the most say in how things work. We're still honestly in the process of getting organized, but for the moment, the people in charge consist of 'The Triumvirate' (see the Who's Who in the sidebar).

For the moment, major decisions will be made with that group, but eventually up to 35 (give or take a few depending on interest) 'seats' to reflect the Regency Council who will be in charge of making things work in the campaign. How do you get a seat on the council? Find out more in the FAQ
