Festive Fifty 1977

For some time it has been a mystery to me why no Festive 50 for 1977 has been reported. Fellow Festive 50 fan Simon recently contacted me with the information that due to family problems in the Peel household, notably the difficult birth that year of his first daughter meant that John Peel had to take quite a bit of time off from the programme. However, to make up for this absence John Peel did compile his own list of favourite tracks of the year. Simon is only aware of the top 13 and these are reproduced below.
