The Government's programme to set up UK Online Centres is linked to their plans to make all Government services available online by 2005. The centres are intended to help people who do not have access to the net at present.
   For details of the centre nearest you, phone 080 80 100 400 (free phone no.).
   The newly revised UK Online Centres site now allows you to search for UK Online Centres by post code, town or region.
   The site where some Government services are already available is at www.ukonline.gov.uk.
   Local Online is bidding for funding to develop centres in this area. See What is Local Online?
