Resignation
A councillor from Lambeth has announced his resignation. Cllr. Gabriel Fernandes, who represented Stockwell, has resigned for family reasons. Council leader Peter Truesdale said: "We would thank him for the work he has done for the electors of Stockwell in difficult circumstances." (South London Press, 4 Jul 2003)
