A while back, I started to read up on Bhuddism. Although I am Agnostic (a person who holds that the existence of the ultimate cause, as God, and the essential nature of things are unknown and unknowable, or that human knowledge is limited to experience), I have always known that to a degree, I believed in "Karma". Having read up a bit more on Bhuddism, I find I relate well to parts of it although it is still quite misunderstood by a lot of people. Now, more about me!
I was born in Galveias, Portugal in 1976
and came to London, England the same year.
In 1999, I moved to Olhao in the Algarve and lived there for 18 months.
I then moved back to London and now, a year on, I am living in South Ockendon, Essex. This is a very nice place to live. Very peaceful, lots of countryside and very close to Lakeside Shopping Centre where you will want for nothing. It is also only 30 minutes from Central London by train.
This is the road which I live in. This photo was taken in January 2003. It snowed heavily that day - the last time it snowed that much was in February 1991.
Nearly a year after moving to Essex, I opened up my own Fishmongers. Unfortunately, the business didn't work out as well as I had expected so I had no option but to close the shop. The important thing is that I tried! The fact that it didn't work out was unfortunate but, there is no fun in life without the odd risk... The photo below was taken on the opening day - 14th December 2002.
I now live in the Algarve again and this time, it's permanent!
I learnt how to make web pages 7 years ago and have since made this one & another two. One is called Webst@r.
